Experience
As staff counsel for Zurich North America I defended companies in construction, trucking, hotels, shopping malls, car dealerships, car wash, equipment manufacturers & distributors, landscapers, funeral homes, and restaurants against claims for tort and breach of contract. 

I have handled cases relating to surety bonds, insurance bad faith, and worker's compensation.  In law school I clerked with a U.S. District Court Judge, the San Diego District Attorney, and the Office of the United States Attorney in the Division of Major Frauds.
